Yes. Once the speech engine and model are downloaded, dictation does not require an internet connection.

Where are recordings and transcripts stored?

Temporary audio is deleted after transcription. History, dictionary, snippets, and settings remain on your computer.

Is this really a one-time purchase?

Yes. There is no recurring subscription. Your plan determines features and the number of activated computers.
