Terms of Sale & Use

The product

OpenFlow is a Windows application that performs speech-to-text on your own computer. It is sold as a one-time purchase per the plan you select at checkout (Basic, Pro, or Ultra). A plan grants a license to activate the app on the number of computers stated for that plan.

Licenses

• Your license key is issued after payment and is bound to the email address used at checkout.
• Keys are for personal (or, on Ultra, small shared) use and may not be resold or publicly distributed.
• You can deactivate a computer at any time from within the app to free a seat.
• We may revoke keys that are leaked, resold, or obtained through fraudulent payment.

Trial & refunds

Every install includes a free trial with all Pro features so you can verify OpenFlow works on your hardware before paying. If something is broken after purchase and we cannot fix it for you, contact support@openflows.app within 14 days and we will work out a refund.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases; a purchase you already made is never re-billed.

Warranty

The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Speech recognition output can contain mistakes — review anything important before you send it. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Privacy Policy

The short version

Dictation happens on your device. Your audio and the text you dictate are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your computer

• Microphone audio (processed in memory by the on-device model, then discarded)
• Transcripts and dictation history
• Your dictionary, snippets, notes, and settings

What we process

• Account: your email and name, to create your account and bind your license.
• Purchases: handled by Stripe; we receive your email, plan, and payment status — never card numbers.
• License activation: a device identifier per activated computer, to enforce the seat limit of your plan.
• Optional diagnostics: if enabled, anonymous usage counts and app version/OS info — never dictated content.

Third parties

We use Stripe (payments) and Supabase (accounts and licensing infrastructure). Each processes only the data required for its role.

Your rights

Email support@openflows.app to access or delete your account data at any time. Deleting your account does not affect data stored locally on your computer, which is yours.
